Agia Skepi Rehabilitation Center for Teenagers

Agia Skepi Rehabilitation Center for Teenagers

Agia Skepi operates two in-house rehabilitation centers in Cyprus, providing assistance to teenagers and adults grappling with drug addiction. They collectively serve approximately 60 patients. Agia Skepi supports their patients on the path to recovery through the guidance of therapists and engaging activities, including music, arts, and robotics. Additionally, the patients

participate in their successful organic farming program, which provides them with valuable skills and potential employment opportunities for program graduates. Furthermore, Agia Skepi runs social reintegration programs for both teenagers and adults who have successfully completed their rehabilitation programs. We are seeking €20,000 in funding to launch their fundraising event at the Cyprus Presidential Palace, aiming to raise awareness and funds from local stakeholders for their Mother and Child program.

Every Contribution Counts: Jasmine’s Ongoing Supporting for Mothers in Crisis

At Jasmine, every contribution—big or small—is deeply valued and appreciated. Our donors give according to their financial capacity, and together, their generosity transforms lives and uplifts Cypriot families in need.

Here are just a few examples of the meaningful impact we’ve made recently:

  • Supporting a Mother During Her Daughter's Cancer Treatment:
A single mother had to spend three months overseas while her teenage daughter underwent life-saving cancer treatment unavailable in Cyprus. Faced with financial strain and the emotional burden of being away from home, she urgently needed assistance to cover her expenses while staying by her daughter’s side. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, Jasmine was able to provide the necessary support during this critical time.

  • Helping a Struggling Family in Nicosia:
A single mother in Nicosia, raising several children on a very low income, was in desperate need of financial support to meet her family’s basic needs. Jasmine, with the help of our donors, stepped in to provide the assistance required to help stabilize the family’s situation.

These stories are just a glimpse of the many lives we touch every day. Thanks to the unwavering kindness of our donors, we continue to make a powerful and lasting difference in our community.

Jasmine Receives €30,000 Donation to Support Children’s Shelters

The Jasmine Foundation is proud to announce a generous donation of €30,000 from a private donor to benefit two children's shelters in Cyprus. This donation will fund the following initiatives:

  • Transportation: Purchase of two used vehicles to ensure safe transport for children to medical appointments, school, legal meetings, and extracurricular activities.

  • Outdoor Play Area: Construction of a large outdoor play area, featuring artificial grass and sports equipment, designed to encourage physical activity and team-building exercises facilitated by shelter psychologists.

  • Essential Living Items: Provision of large sofas and chairs for communal spaces, 20 wardrobes for children's rooms, 65 quilts and bed sheet sets, 1 washing machine, and 1 refrigerator.

The shelters provide vital support to unaccompanied immigrant children who have arrived in Cyprus without parents. In addition to offering basic accommodation, they deliver a comprehensive range of services, including psycho-social support, legal assistance, and daily necessities to meet the children's diverse needs.

This donation represents a significant step forward in enhancing the well-being and future prospects of these children.

What's Next?

The Jasmine team is currently coordinating the purchase of the above items and the construction of the playfield. We are documenting the process on film, and a case study video is scheduled for release in 2025.

Ayios Antonios Elderly Home Care Unit for the Vulnerable

Situated in Nicosia, the Ayios Antonios Elderly Home Care Unit provides housing and care for approximately 60 elderly individuals and people with mental disabilities. These patients often have no families or come from low-income backgrounds. The generous donation from the Jasmine Foundation has facilitated the installation of electrical beds, wheelchairs, and air conditioners at Ayios Antonios, enhancing the quality of care and comfort for its residents.
